Underfloor Heating

The innovative universal thermal insulation board. Styrodur 3000CS is an extruded polystyrene board with a constant thermal conductivity of 0.033W/mK across the whole range of thicknesses available (30-240mm). As well as the excellent insulation properties Styrodur 3000CS has a high compressive strength, low water absorption and is resistant to ageing and decay. Styrodur 3000CS is the all-round thermal insulation board with smooth surface and rebated on all four edges for flooring, roofing and wall applications.

Available in a range of sheet sizes and thicknesses from 6-165mm, Ravatherm XPS H LB (previously Styrofoam LBHX) boards have a calibrated dust free surface that provides an excellent key for lamination. Ideal for production of composite panels due to Ravatherm’s unique high strength in compression, tension, bending and shear. The high strength to weight ratio is particularly important in applications such as commercial vehicles. Due to its homogenous cell structure and uniform density Ravatherm can be cut very accurately and to very close tolerances. The closed cell structure ensures that Ravatherm retains its performance even when in permanent contact with moisture. Ravatherm material is resistant to most acids and salts, it does not rot and its thermal and mechanical properties have been proven long-term. Ravatherm XPS H LB provides reliable and durable thermal insulation performance.

Routed Styrofoam XPS foam with preformed grooves which can be set at different centres into a thickness of foam to suit the project. The grooves are designed  to take the continuous pipe associated with water filled under floor heating systems without the need for supplementary fixings. As the pipes are installed flush with the surface of the UFH boards they are specifically suited for use within floating timber floor systems.
