RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
In our experience some insulation products used within the floor construction of recreational vehicles do not meet the high compressive strength, have the dimensional stability or the very close tolerances across all dimensions required for this application. This can result in delimitation of the floor panels and hence floor failures which can be very costly to put right once the vehicle has been built. Therefore specifically manufactured close tolerance extruded polystyrene is the only product suitable for installation within the floor construction of both touring caravans and motorhomes. We can produce an exact thickness of foam required to match the size of structural timbers used within the floor construction you design.

Available in a range of sheet sizes and thicknesses from 6-165mm, Ravatherm XPS H LB (previously Styrofoam LBHX) boards have a calibrated dust free surface that provides an excellent key for lamination. Ideal for production of composite panels due to Ravatherm’s unique high strength in compression, tension, bending and shear. The high strength to weight ratio is particularly important in applications such as commercial vehicles. Due to its homogenous cell structure and uniform density Ravatherm can be cut very accurately and to very close tolerances. The closed cell structure ensures that Ravatherm retains its performance even when in permanent contact with moisture. Ravatherm material is resistant to most acids and salts, it does not rot and its thermal and mechanical properties have been proven long-term. Ravatherm XPS H LB provides reliable and durable thermal insulation performance.
